My Priorities

Putting More Money Back in Your Pocket

Government should work collaboratively and responsibly to reduce everyday costs for middle class residents through practical reforms that lower taxes, reduce wasteful spending, and encourage economic growth.

Affordability for Maple Grove Residents

Families, seniors, and residents are being nickel-and-dimed through rising fees, taxes, and everyday costs.

I will pursue practical policies that make it more affordable to live, work, and raise a family in Maple Grove.

My priorities include:

  • Lower everyday costs
  • Reduce unnecessary fees
  • Cut wasteful government spending
I will fight to:
  • Expand both the Child Tax Credit and Dependent Care Tax Credit by allowing higher income levels to qualify.
  • Expand property tax qualification to allow more households to qualify for the Homeowner's Homestead credit refund.
  • Reduce the vehicle registration tab fee, and vehicle sales tax that were increased by the 2023/2024 state legislature.
  • Target sale tax exemptions for families on baby products, and school supplies.
  • Cut the gas tax inflator passed by the state legislature during the 2024 Omnibus bill

Accountability on Fraud

Taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and leaders who respect every hard-earned dollar.

After years of fraud, wasteful spending, and government mismanagement in Minnesota, it's time for stronger oversight to ensure this never happens again.

I will fight to:

  • Hold government accountable for fraud
  • Strengthen oversight of taxpayer dollars
  • Eliminate wasteful spending
  • Deliver results for Maple Grove families, seniors, and small businesses

Supporting Law Enforcement & Public Safety

Safe communities begin with strong partnerships between citizens and law enforcement.

Our officers deserve the training, equipment, and resources necessary to keep our neighborhoods safe while maintaining trust within the community.

My commitment:

  • Support law enforcement
  • Keep violent offenders accountable
  • Invest in public safety
  • Protect Maple Grove neighborhoods

Restoring Academic Excellence

Every student deserves an education that prepares them for success.

Minnesota students have fallen behind in reading and math. We need to refocus classrooms on academic achievement while supporting teachers and parents.

My priorities include:

  • Strong reading and math fundamentals
  • Support for great teachers
  • High academic expectations
  • Preparing students for future careers
I will fight for:
  • Funds that are fair and flexible for each school district. Osseo School District 279 does not face the same challenges that Minneapolis Public or Fergus Fall Schools does. Therefore funding should reflect the needs of each district.
  • Addressing student achievement gaps in literacy through research based curriculum (Science of Reading).
  • Enhanced academic rigor and accountability.  Promotion of greater academic standards in the classroom focused on ensuring every student becomes college and career ready.
  • Mental health for every student through school resources such as counselors, and Education Support Professionals.
  • School Safety initiatives and funding for every student.
