It’s Time to Put Affordability First

You Work Hard. Your Money Should Go Further.

Something must change.

When a trip to the grocery store costs more than it used to, families notice.

When property taxes, insurance, utilities, and everyday expenses keep climbing, families notice.

When seniors on fixed incomes think twice about expenses they once took for granted, they notice.

And when young people wonder whether they’ll ever be able to afford a home and build their future here, we should all pay attention.

This is why I’m running for State Representative in House District 37B.

I love our community. My family and I are proud to call Maple Grove home. But I believe the people who live here deserve a state government that understands something very basic:

Every dollar government spends came from someone who worked to earn it.

Affordability isn't just another political talking point to me. It's about the decisions households make around the kitchen table every day.

Can we afford the mortgage?

Can we keep up with our property taxes?

Why did groceries cost that much?

How much will it cost to renew the tabs on our cars?

Can our parents afford to stay in their homes?

Will our children be able to afford to build their lives in Minnesota?

Those are the questions government should focus on.

My Commitment

I’m running to bring a common sense, results-driven approach to the Capitol focused on affordability, accountability, safer communities, and stronger schools.

I want to reduce unnecessary costs placed on families, provide meaningful tax relief, demand accountability for taxpayer dollars, fight fraud and waste, support law enforcement, and make sure our schools are focused on helping every child succeed.

But most importantly, I will listen and do the work.

I've always believed in a simple principle:

Be a doer, not a talker.

That's the approach I'll bring to St. Paul.

I’ll ask the tough questions. I'll challenge the status quo when it isn't working. I'll work across the aisle when we can find common ground. And I'll always remember that my job is to represent the people of our community.

This Campaign Is About You

Over the coming weeks, I'll continue knocking on doors, talking with neighbors, listening to your concerns, and sharing my ideas for making Maple Grove more affordable and accountable.

But I can't do this alone.

I'm asking you to join me.

Talk to your neighbors. Follow and share our campaign. Put up a sign. Get involved. And most importantly, vote on/before November 3rd.

This election is about the future of our community and the kind of Minnesota we leave to our children.

Let's make life more affordable.
Let's demand accountability.
Let's strengthen our schools and communities.
And together let's get to work.

I'm Luke Doerer, candidate for Minnesota House District 37B, and I'm asking for your trust and your vote on November 3rd.
